Their 8-volt deep-cycle cells are what a great many golf cars leave the factory with — six of them in series make a cart's 48 volts — and their XC2 range answers the failure that kills those batteries, acid settling out of a cell left standing over a winter, with glass-mat separators and carbon-enhanced negative plates. They publish a 20-hour rate for every model, which is what makes their own range comparable with itself. They sell through distributors and dealers rather than direct.
