Privacy Policy

You can read every page on this site without signing in, without giving us anything, and without being individually identified. We do not sell or share personal information, because we do not collect a profile of you to sell or share.

There is no registration, login, password or user account anywhere on this site. We hold no name, email address, postal address or payment details, because there is no mechanism to give them to us.

Like any web server, ours records basic technical information about each request so the site can be operated and protected:

• the request method and the page address requested
• the browser or crawler user-agent string
• the time of the request
• a truncated form of the network address the request came from

The address is deliberately shortened before it is used or written down, so what is retained identifies a rough network origin rather than an individual connection. It exists for two narrow purposes: to apply a generous rate limit that stops abusive automated bursts, and to let us see how search-engine and AI crawlers are reaching the site. It is not used to build a profile, and it is not combined with anything else to identify you.

This site sets no cookies of its own. There are no advertising cookies, no tracking pixels, no session cookies and no cross-site identifiers, and there is nothing to consent to or opt out of for the site itself.

The site supports optional aggregate analytics (Google Analytics 4) to understand which pages are useful. It is disabled by default and loads no third-party script unless a measurement ID has been configured for the deployment. Where it is enabled, it records page and interaction counts, not personal details, and we do not send it names, addresses, or any information you type into the search box beyond what appears in the page address.

If analytics is enabled on the deployment you are viewing, Google acts as an independent processor under its own terms and privacy policy.

The site currently shows no advertising. If advertising is introduced later, this policy will be updated first to describe what it involves, and any commercial relationship affecting a link will be disclosed on the page itself.

Pages here link out to manufacturer, vendor and government websites so you can check our sources. Those sites are operated independently and have their own privacy practices; following a link takes you outside this site and outside this policy.

The catalogue itself describes products, manufacturers, certifications and public safety notices. It is not personal data about site visitors. Where a public recall notice names a company, we reproduce it as the issuing regulator published it and link back to that regulator’s own record.

The database that backs this site is not publicly accessible. There is no public API, no query endpoint and no bulk export; pages are rendered on the server and only the resulting page is sent to your browser. Administrative tooling is not part of the public site and is not deployed with it.
