UL's own catalogue entry gives that title, third edition, published and ANSI-approved 25 February 2022. AUXILIARY POWER is the operative phrase: the battery that runs lighting, accessories and standby loads. A battery that MOVES the vehicle is a traction battery and this standard directs those to UL 2580 and UL 2271 instead. A golf cart's pack moves the cart.
