KATS — 국가기술표준원, the Korean Agency for Technology and Standards — publishes South Korea's domestic recalls (국내리콜) through its 제품안전정보센터, the Product Safety Information Centre at safetykorea.kr. A Korean recall proclamation is richer than most: it states the item name, model, brand, the business, the certification number, the measured defect together with the test value and the limit it exceeded, the hazard that follows, and what the owner should do. Its remit is products requiring KC certification under Korea's Electrical Appliances and Consumer Products Safety Control Act; Korean vehicle and marine safety sit with other ministries entirely.

That is a statement about our work and not about theirs: it means nothing they have published has both matched this catalogue’s subject — golf carts and the batteries, chargers, motors and controllers they run on — and been read and decided by a person. Korea's register is in Korean and our English rendering sits beneath the original, labelled as ours and never as the regulator's words. Korea’s Agency for Technology and Standards publish no terms about reusing what they put out — we looked, on the date shown above, and found none. That is not permission and we do not treat it as permission. Where a notice of theirs is quoted on this site it is marked as theirs, it is attributed to them, and their own address is printed beside it so you can read the notice at the source.
No reuse terms found, after reading the footers and policy pages of both hosts on 23 September 2026: safetykorea.kr, where the recalls are published, and kats.go.kr, the Agency's own site. Neither offers a 저작권 정책 (copyright policy) page, neither carries a 공공누리 (KOGL) licence mark on the recall board or on a notice, and KATS's 공공데이터개방 page states who their open-data officer is without naming any licence. The only statement either site makes about its own rights is the footer, identical on both: "COPYRIGHT 2014 KATS. ALL RIGHT RESERVED." (our translation of the intent is unnecessary — it is printed in English). That is a reservation, not a grant and not a refusal, so every permission here stays UNKNOWN. No Korean notice has reached this catalogue yet, so nothing of theirs is reproduced on any page today — and this record exists so that whoever publishes the first one knows what was and was not found before they do.
