Only the ELiTE lithium Express. The same model on other powertrains is a different vehicle for this purpose. Check yours before buying.

    An OEM-approved lithium-ion charger for this vehicle — one the battery's management system can work with. E-Z-GO's manual gives three charge rates chosen by battery temperature (none below 14°F or above 140°F, a six-amp pre-charge at the edges, full charging in between) and says the BMS and the charger cooperate to pick one. A charger that cannot be told the pack's temperature cannot do that. The manual documents Delta-Q QuiQ models 913-4830-E3/E38/E5/E58, an RC900 ELiTE and an E-Z-GO ELiTE charger in its appendices.

Textron Specialized Vehicles Recalls PTV and Off-Road Vehicles Due to Crash Hazard (Recall Alert)

Affected product: E-Z-GO PTVs and Tracker Off-Road Vehicles

This recall covers only some units of this product, identified by specific serial or identification numbers, a range of manufacturing dates and the dates it was sold. Check the recall notice against your own unit before concluding whether it is affected.

Units covered: This recall involves Personal Transportation Vehicles (PTV) and Utility Vehicles, based on Textron Specialized Vehicles' TXT chassis, manufactured between March 1, 2021 and June 10, 2021. Recalled vehicles include the E-Z-GO Express S2, S4, S6 and L6, the E-Z-GO Freedom TXT, Valor and the Tracker Off-Road OX 400. These vehicles are commonly referred to as golf carts or golf cars and are used to transport people and material loads. The vehicle's serial number can be found below the driver's seat. The serial number range for the recalled E-Z-GO vehicles is 3509365 to 3531888 and the serial number range for the recalled Tracker Off Road vehicles is 8025639 to 8026154.

Hazard: The parking brake catch bracket can wear out and cause the parking brake to fail, posing a crash hazard.

Remedy: Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled vehicles. Textron Specialized Vehicles is contacting all purchasers directly to coordinate a free repair. Consumers may contact Textron per the information listed below.
