Units covered: This recall involves model-year 2022 E-Z-GO Freedom RXV ELiTE, Freedom RXV Gas, and Freedom RXV 48V personal transportation vehicles with a rear-facing seat. Recalled units have serial numbers within the range of 5633701 to 5651753. The vehicle's serial number can be found near the base of the steering column. These vehicles are commonly referred to as golf carts or golf cars and are used primarily to transport people.
Hazard: The rear seat structure of the PTV can fail, resulting in the rear seat tilting unexpectedly, posing fall and injury hazards to the riders.
Remedy: Consumers should immediately stop using the rear facing seat of their recalled vehicle and contact Textron for a free repair. Textron Specialized Vehicles is contacting all purchasers directly to coordinate a free repair program with dealers to inspect and replace the recalled vehicle's rear seat frame.

Units covered: This recall involves E-Z-GO's model year 2020 through 2025 RXV Freedom and 2023 through 2025 Valor PTVs with serial numbers ranging from 5538278 through 5920722; and model year 2020 through 2022 TXT Freedom and Valor PTVs with serial numbers ranging from 3455024 through 3582057. The vehicle's serial number is printed near the base of the steering column for RXV and model year 2023, 2024 and 2025 Valor vehicles. The serial number is printed below the operator seat position for TXT and model year 2020, 2021 and 2022 Valor vehicles. These vehicles are commonly referred to as golf carts or golf cars and are used primarily to transport people.
Hazard: The recalled PTV can leak fuel at the quick-connect fitting between the fuel line and the fuel injector mounted on the engine, posing a risk of serious injury and fire hazard.
Remedy: Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled vehicles until they have been inspected and repaired, if needed. Consumers can contact Textron E-Z-GO for inspection instructions or contact an authorized Textron E-Z-GO dealer to schedule a free inspection. If any signs of fuel leakage are detected, the vehicle will be repaired by an authorized dealer free of charge, by replacing the fuel line. Consumers who cannot take their recalled PTV to an authorized dealer for inspection or repair can contact Textron E-Z-GO or an authorized dealer for assistance.

Units covered: This recall involves model year 2021, 2022 and 2023 Freedom and Valor E-Z-GO RXV personal transportation vehicles, with serial numbers ranging from 5585710 through 5716926; and model year 2021, 2022 and 2023 Valor, Express and Liberty E-Z-GO TXT personal transportation vehicles, with serial numbers ranging from 3478457 through 3591890. Recalled units are equipped with an optional USB charge port. The vehicle's serial number is printed near the base of the steering column for RXV models and is printed below the operator seat position for TXT models. These vehicles are commonly referred to as golf carts or golf cars and are used primarily to transport people.
Hazard: The electronic board that powers the USB port can overheat and ignite adjacent components, posing a fire hazard.
Remedy: Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled PTVs, turn the key switch to the OFF position and do not connect electric powered PTVs to a charger or a power outlet. Contact Textron Specialized Vehicles to schedule a free repair. The dealer will install a fiberglass/aluminum thermal insulation protective sleeve over the USB charge port module. Textron Specialized Vehicles is contacting all purchasers directly.
