Affected product: E-Z-GO Personal Transportation Vehicles (PTVs)
This recall covers only some units of this product, identified by specific serial or identification numbers, specific model years and the dates it was sold. Check the recall notice against your own unit before concluding whether it is affected.
Units covered: This recall involves E-Z-GO's model year 2020 through 2025 RXV Freedom and 2023 through 2025 Valor PTVs with serial numbers ranging from 5538278 through 5920722; and model year 2020 through 2022 TXT Freedom and Valor PTVs with serial numbers ranging from 3455024 through 3582057. The vehicle's serial number is printed near the base of the steering column for RXV and model year 2023, 2024 and 2025 Valor vehicles. The serial number is printed below the operator seat position for TXT and model year 2020, 2021 and 2022 Valor vehicles. These vehicles are commonly referred to as golf carts or golf cars and are used primarily to transport people.
Hazard: The recalled PTV can leak fuel at the quick-connect fitting between the fuel line and the fuel injector mounted on the engine, posing a risk of serious injury and fire hazard.
Remedy: Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled vehicles until they have been inspected and repaired, if needed. Consumers can contact Textron E-Z-GO for inspection instructions or contact an authorized Textron E-Z-GO dealer to schedule a free inspection. If any signs of fuel leakage are detected, the vehicle will be repaired by an authorized dealer free of charge, by replacing the fuel line. Consumers who cannot take their recalled PTV to an authorized dealer for inspection or repair can contact Textron E-Z-GO or an authorized dealer for assistance.

This recall covers only some units of this product, identified by specific serial or identification numbers, specific model years and the dates it was sold. Check the recall notice against your own unit before concluding whether it is affected.
Units covered: This recall involves model year 2021, 2022 and 2023 Freedom and Valor E-Z-GO RXV personal transportation vehicles, with serial numbers ranging from 5585710 through 5716926; and model year 2021, 2022 and 2023 Valor, Express and Liberty E-Z-GO TXT personal transportation vehicles, with serial numbers ranging from 3478457 through 3591890. Recalled units are equipped with an optional USB charge port. The vehicle's serial number is printed near the base of the steering column for RXV models and is printed below the operator seat position for TXT models. These vehicles are commonly referred to as golf carts or golf cars and are used primarily to transport people.
Hazard: The electronic board that powers the USB port can overheat and ignite adjacent components, posing a fire hazard.
Remedy: Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled PTVs, turn the key switch to the OFF position and do not connect electric powered PTVs to a charger or a power outlet. Contact Textron Specialized Vehicles to schedule a free repair. The dealer will install a fiberglass/aluminum thermal insulation protective sleeve over the USB charge port module. Textron Specialized Vehicles is contacting all purchasers directly.

Hazard: The threaded end of the rack rod ball joint can break and the ball joint can become displaced, causing the driver to lose steering control. This can result in a crash.
Remedy: Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled vehicles and contact E-Z-GO or an authorized dealer for a free repair. E-Z-GO and E-Z-GO dealers are contacting known owners.

Units covered: This recall involves E-Z-GO, Cushman and Bad Boy Buggies brand gas- and electric-powered, four-wheeled vehicles with bench seats for the driver and passengers. Recalled E-Z-GO and Cushman vehicles have serial numbers from 2823208 to 2850425 and from 3000001 to 3003187. Bad Boy Buggies vehicles have serial numbers from 8005089 to 8006013. The brand and model names are printed on the side and front panels of the vehicles. Serial numbers are printed on a plate or label inside the cab below the driver's seat. The following vehicles are being recalled: E-Z-GO TXT Fleet golf cars E-Z-GO Freedom TXT, Shuttle 2+2 TXT and Valor personal golf cars all with one bench seat and one rear-facing seat E-Z-GO Express with two bench seats and one rear-facing seat, E-Z-GOTerrain with a cargo bed Cushman Shuttle vehicles Bad Boy Buggies HD, LD, LTO, and LT Safari utility vehicles
Hazard: The steering wheel nut may not have been tightened sufficiently, reducing the driver's steering control. This can result in a crash.
Remedy: Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled vehicles and contact E-Z-GO or an authorized dealer for a free repair. E-Z-GO and E-Z-GO dealers are already contacting known owners.

Units covered: This recall involves E-Z-GO gas-powered TXT Fleet golf cars, E-Z-GO Freedom TXT, TXT2+2 and Valor golf cars, E-Z-GO Express, E-Z-GO Terrain and Cushman Shuttle vehicles with bench seats for the driver and passengers. The E-Z-GO Terrain and the Cushman Shuttle have a cargo bed on the back. The recalled vehicles have date codes ranging from G2015 through L0515. E-Z-GO or Cushman and the model name are printed on the side and front panels of the vehicles. Date codes are printed on a plate or label inside the cab below the driver's seat. The first letter of the date code identifies the month of production in sequence, with G corresponding to January and L to May. There is no letter I. The first two numbers in the date code identify the two-digit day of production and the final two numbers identify the two-digit year of production.
Hazard: The gas tank can leak, posing a fire hazard.
Remedy: Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled vehicles and contact E-Z-GO or an authorized dealer for a free repair. E-Z-GO and E-Z-GO dealers are contacting known owners.

This recall covers only some units of this product, identified by specific serial or identification numbers, specific model years and the dates it was sold. Check the recall notice against your own unit before concluding whether it is affected.
Units covered: The recall involves certain model year 2002 through 2005 E-Z-GO Fleet and E-Z-GO Freedom gasoline-powered golf cars and Shuttle 2+2 personnel carriers. The model names for the recalled products are TXT, Freedom and Shuttle 2+2. The model names are printed on the sides of the Freedom and Shuttle 2+2 vehicles, and the E-Z-GO logo is on the front of all three vehicles. The recalled vehicles have 9-horsepower engines and serial numbers ranging from 1451059 through 2341739. The serial numbers of early production vehicles are found on plates located on the passenger side dash housing. The serial numbers of late production vehicles are found on plates located on the body below the driver's seat and on the chassis between the seat back supports.
Hazard: High engine temperatures can permit fuel to get into the air filter box, posing a risk of fire.
Remedy: Owners of the recalled golf cars should contact the nearest E-Z-GO dealer to arrange for a free repair. E-Z-GO and E-Z-GO dealers will contact known owners to schedule an appointment for a free repair.

Units covered: This recall involves Personal Transportation Vehicles (PTV) and Utility Vehicles, based on Textron Specialized Vehicles' TXT chassis, manufactured between March 1, 2021 and June 10, 2021. Recalled vehicles include the E-Z-GO Express S2, S4, S6 and L6, the E-Z-GO Freedom TXT, Valor and the Tracker Off-Road OX 400. These vehicles are commonly referred to as golf carts or golf cars and are used to transport people and material loads. The vehicle's serial number can be found below the driver's seat. The serial number range for the recalled E-Z-GO vehicles is 3509365 to 3531888 and the serial number range for the recalled Tracker Off Road vehicles is 8025639 to 8026154.
Hazard: The parking brake catch bracket can wear out and cause the parking brake to fail, posing a crash hazard.
Remedy: Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled vehicles. Textron Specialized Vehicles is contacting all purchasers directly to coordinate a free repair. Consumers may contact Textron per the information listed below.
