We have not documented a battery sold by this vehicle’s own manufacturer for this model. The options below are from other makers, each shown with the evidence behind it.

Replacement options from other makers

Manufacturer documented

Manufacturer documentation explicitly identifies this as compatible.

It will fit and work, but our green recommendations are better options.

Only an RXV that left the factory with lead-acid batteries — check yours before buying.

Not established: whether the pack fits this cart's battery bay without trimming, and what the charger must be. The chart gives a verdict per cart and no dimensions.

Eco Battery's own compatibility chart marks the 51V 60Ah blue under both “FREEDOM/RXV PLASTIC” and “FREEDOM/RXV METAL”: “It will fit and work, but our green recommendations are better options.”. Eco's chart is for carts that left the factory with lead-acid batteries.

product configuration options for Club Car Precedent, EZGO RXV, EZGO TXT, Yamaha, and Other

Only on a 48-volt RXV, in the configuration Epoch sell for it, which they name as a model rather than by this trim — check yours before buying.

Not established: Tray space, cable routing and controller requirements. Epoch tell owners to verify all three before installation, and nothing here checks them.

Epoch sell this kit in a version for the E-Z-GO RXV, with parts specific to that configuration. They name the RXV as a model, and the RXV 2 is one.

51V 150AH Battery Bundle / EZGO RXV Samsung Gen2 (2022+); 51V 150AH Battery Bundle / EZGO RXV Samsung Gen1 (2017-2021); 51V 150AH Battery Bundle / EZGO RXV

Only the RXV family. Eco Battery write "EZGO RXV" and name no year or trim, and this catalogue holds three RXVs — the RXV 2, the RXV Fleet and the Freedom RXV Fleet. Some of their RXV bundles do narrow it, to Samsung Gen1 for 2017-2021 or Gen2 for 2022 on, or to the factory metal tray rather than the plastic one. Those distinctions are about the pack and tray the cart left the factory with, not about which RXV it is. Check yours before buying.

Fits with an adapter or install kit. Eco Battery sell this pack for this cart as a BUNDLE — the battery together with the install kit the cart needs. So the maker is not claiming the pack drops in on its own; they are claiming it fits once their kit is fitted. What is in the kit varies by cart and is listed on the bundle's own page.

Not established: Whether the cart's existing charger and on-board computer work with this pack. Eco Battery sell charge ports, charger pigtails, interlock relays and OBC bypass adapters as separate products, which says a conversion often needs one — but the bundle listing does not say which of them this cart needs. Read the bundle's own contents before buying anything.

Taken from Eco Battery's own product titles, which are how this maker publishes fitment: each bundle is one pack boxed for one named cart. It is the battery's manufacturer making the claim, not the cart's.

Not established: Whether the cart's existing charger, controller or on-board computer will work with a lithium pack. Only as Bolt's own compatibility search answers it for the EZ GO RXV, which Bolt name as a model rather than by this trim — check yours before buying.

Fits only if the cart is modified. Bolt's own search answers "NEED CONTROLLER UPGRADE" for this kit on this cart. The kit runs at a higher system voltage than the cart was built for, so the motor controller has to be replaced with one rated for that voltage before the kit will run it.

The Trojan Lithium OnePack™ now offers drop-in compatibility with the E-Z-GO RXV Gen 1 ELiTE golf carts.

Only an E-Z-GO RXV GEN 1 ELiTE — Trojan's own scope, and the whole claim. An RXV that is not a Gen 1 ELiTE is not what they are describing. Check yours before buying.

Fits as it is. Trojan state it needs no new motor or controller: "a direct aftermarket replacement for the Samsung lithium battery, helping you get more range from your golf cart without the need for a new motor or controller". They say nothing about the charger, and the cart's factory charger was built for a Samsung pack.

Not established: WHETHER THIS CATALOGUE'S "RXV 2" IS A GEN 1 ELiTE. That model is held from E-Z-GO's own current line-up and Trojan's scope is a generation name E-Z-GO do not use on the page read. The two may or may not be the same vehicle and nothing held settles it. Also not established: what happens to the factory charger, which was built for the Samsung pack and which Trojan do not mention.

Trojan write that OnePack is "a direct aftermarket replacement for the Samsung lithium battery", so an RXV Gen 1 ELiTE leaves the factory on lithium and the pack is a Samsung. E-Z-GO do not say either of those things on any page read here — a replacement maker naming the part they replace is an unusual and valuable source of factory-fitment fact. Trojan also claim 75% more listed amp-hour capacity than the factory lithium battery. What that implies about the Samsung's own capacity is arithmetic rather than a figure Trojan publish, and it is left as such.

designed for major 48-volt golf cart platforms including EZGO TXT/RXV, Club Car Precedent/Onward, Yamaha, ICON, and similar carts. For Club Car DS carts, Epoch recommends the 48V 105Ah Mini Lithium Golf Cart Battery Kit.

Only the EZGO RXV configuration, named on the product's own selector — check yours before buying.

Fits, but needs a different charger. Epoch say the included 48 V lithium charger should be used instead of the original lead-acid charger unless the existing charging system is confirmed compatible with LiFePO4 settings.

Not established: whether an RXV needs anything of its control system that Epoch do not mention. Allied publish a separate RXV install page and an OBC bypass guide; Epoch's page addresses neither.

Documented by the pack's own maker, who names this cart. EZGO RXV is one of six configurations on the product's own selector.

Allied Lithium Batteries are the only true “Drop-In-Ready” lithium batteries for the EZGO RXV Golf Cart. Learn how to install your Allied Batteries in parallel.

Only three or four modules, wired in parallel — which is Allied’s own set size for this cart — check yours before buying.

Not established: whether the modules fit the battery bay. E-Z-GO publish no compartment dimensions on the 2027 RXV 2 specification, and the replacement is a different number of boxes in a different shape from the four 12-volt batteries it removes. Measure the bay before buying.

Allied name this cart in their own page heading and show the sets bought for it, three modules or four, each drawn as a “48V 30Ah” module. The modules go in PARALLEL, where the four 12-volt lead-acid batteries an RXV leaves the factory with are wired in series — so a module count is not a battery count, and neither can be read off the other.

Battery certifications

Allied print this as "IEC62633", marked "(Cells)". No certificate, number, issuer or register entry is published for it on either Allied storefront, so this is what the maker's own document states and not a confirmed listing. UNRESOLVED, AND RECORDED AS PRINTED. Every other Allied datasheet prints IEC62619 in this position; this one prints IEC62633. It is not tidied into its neighbour, because a standard number is not a typo to be corrected by whoever is nearest — and if it is a real citation, changing it would destroy the only evidence of what Allied claimed.

  • CEStated in manufacturer documentAllied 48V 30Ah datasheet, SAFETY SPECIFICATIONS, Certifications — cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0240/6314/8096/files/Data_Sheet_48V_30Ah.pdf

Allied print this as "CE", marked "(Battery)". No certificate, number, issuer or register entry is published for it on either Allied storefront, so this is what the maker's own document states and not a confirmed listing. Allied's own scope marker on this line is "(Battery)", so the claim is about the assembled pack.

No certificate, number, issuer or register entry is published for it on either Allied storefront, so this is what the maker's own document states and not a confirmed listing. Allied's own scope marker on this line is "(Battery)", so the claim is about the assembled pack. The pack ships as "UN 3480 | Class 9".

  • UL 1642Stated in manufacturer documentAllied 48V 30Ah datasheet, SAFETY SPECIFICATIONS, Certifications — cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0240/6314/8096/files/Data_Sheet_48V_30Ah.pdf

Allied print this as "UL1642", marked "(Cells)". No certificate, number, issuer or register entry is published for it on either Allied storefront, so this is what the maker's own document states and not a confirmed listing. Allied's own scope marker on this line is "(Cells)", so the claim is about the cells inside the pack and not about the assembled battery. A cell standard is not a pack standard and neither implies the other.

Each standard listed is an independent claim about this specific product — one standard does not imply compliance with another.

Do not fit

The manufacturer states these batteries do not fit this model:

Eco Battery's own compatibility chart marks the 38V 105Ah red under both “FREEDOM/RXV PLASTIC” and “FREEDOM/RXV METAL”: “Does Not Fit and/or will not work with this cart (Will Require Lots of Modification)”. Eco's chart is for carts that left the factory with lead-acid batteries.
